Beautiful Heinrick Handwerck German doll marked on the back of her head: 5 1/2 HW Germany 6 1/2. She has a ball jointed composition body in close to perfect condition with the exception of some very minor joint paint wear. She has an opened mouth with four teeth. Huge dark blue glass sleep eyes with the original wax present. Stands a whopping 24'' tall and has no damage or repairs. The elastic cord needs to be replaced and tightened to make her look better. Very original and in top shelf condition. Ready to be dressed and displayed! Good addition to any French or German doll collection. Circa 1910. Incredibly rare Antique French clown doll with white bisque face and expressive face. Clown dolls of this age are almost unheard of. A rarity of the highest order. Could have been made by Bru, Jumeau or some other French doll maker. Clothes are sewn on and have not been removed. Well sized at 19'' tall and includes all the original silk clothes and shoes. A once in a lifetime opportunity to own as rare a doll as you will every find. Condition is excellent overall with some scuffing to the paint on the hands as the only flaw. Circa 1880 Purchased from Ralphs Doll Shop in Parkville MO in 1970 for $550. Ralph ran one of the best Doll Shops in the entire country and wrote many books on the subject. 24'' KESTNER 196: Lovely 24'' Kestner 196 with fur eyelashes. Lovely pale bisque with deep rose cheek coloring. Open mouth with teeth and the unusual feature of inserted fur eyebrows, (rarely does the fur still exist). This dimpled cutie has expressive blue sleep swirl paperweight eyes. Original jointed german body. Sweet blonde mohair wig. Beautifully dressed in a brown velvet outfit with lots of lace and a lovely brown velvet bonnet. Stands 24'' tall and is a really beauty. Small 2'' crack in jointed body on butt. Wig has been glued on with elmers glue. Great large Kestner with all the extras. Circa 1910. Superb. Antique Vicotiran miniature furniture made of mahogany and burl wood. 19th century. Comes from the estate of the late Beverly Sills, famous opera singer and society beneficiary. Measures 10 1/4 inches high; 5 1/4 inches wide. Stands on 4 shaped bracket feet. Two deep cupbaords with a metal handle and keyhole under a long drawer, with round metal handles and a central keyhole. A ridged surface indicating the qualitly of the workmanship leads to inset mirrored tall cupboard doors, fitted out as the cupbard doors below. The bottom door are decorated with inlaid wood/stringing. Shaped top, again shows wonderful quality of the craftmanship. Inside is original old paper lining in red and white geometric patterns with a scalloped, shaped wood shelf on top and a plain wooden shelf on the bottom. Generally very good condition with wonderful patina, formed over well over 100 years. Vintage miniature wood grandfather clock. Early 20th century. From the estate of the late Beverly Sills, famous opera singer and society beneficiary. Measures 17 1/4 inches high. Made to look like a real grandfather clock and carved out of oak. It is set with a small clock (that needs some work), made in Germany. Besides one part of the broken pediment that has been reglued, the clock is in good condition.
