circa: 1920 width: 59.5 height: 75.5 length: 20.25 This antique oak Welsh dresser was crafted in England around 1920. Today, the oak retains a remarkably beautiful complexion and a striking grain that have grown more beautiful over the years with the development of a rich patina. The barley twist framing is particularly elegant, and its florid contours contrast wonderfully with the twelve square panels that compose the face of the backsplash. Other notable adornments include the paneling on the cabinet doors, the carved trim along the top, and the raised carvings on each of the drawers. The frame remains very sturdy, although the surfaces of this dresser have sustained the normal assortment of wear marks and stains. Overall condition therefore remains very good.
