American Chippendale figured walnut fluted quarter columns, four graduated drawers, platformed ogee bracket feet pennsylvania desk. Circa 1760-1780. Height 42, width 39, depth 19 3/4, writing level height 31. Choice mellow brown patina. Featuring all the right qualities, this desk is fitted with a fine interior with two tiers of blocked drawers and pigeonholes, fluted document drawers, a center section door with a fan carved door concealing two secret drawers
