Yale-Harvard Regatta from Harper's Weekly. Black; cream. Paper. This original engraving is titled, "College Regatta--Boat-Race Between The Yale and Harvard Boys On Lake Quinsigamond, July 28, 1865." The page also contains a description of the race and portraits of six of the participants: Isaac Pierson, Edmund Coffin, Wilbur Bacon, Edward Bennett, W. W. Scranton and Lewis Stoskopf. It is marked, "August 19, 1865, Harpers Weekly, 517."
