The first engraved cartoon shows a lady saying that she wished she could do something to help the brave soldiers. This is an anti-female cartoon. It is initialed, "F. B." The second cartoon is titled, "Who Are The Nigger Lovers?" It shows a planter, his slave and son. The planter tells his son that he must go to war because he cant spare his slave who cost $1200. It is signed. Civil War
