The base is marked, "Lionel" and with the "L" within a circle. The underside is marked, "Lionel Corporation, New York, Made in U.S. of America." The orange and blue box is marked, "No. 71 Lamp Post Lionel." The box is also stamped, "Lionel No. 71, OPS-SR4-CPR7, Ceiling price $.95." An applied label reads, "Purchased Through Lionel Train Div. Madison Hardware Co., N.Y." The box has the American Toys logo.
