This is a framed lithograph by Sarony, Major and Knapp after the drawings by Arthur Schott done in 1849 and published in 1857 in the "Emory Mexico-United States Boundary Survey. " It shows a Native woman and two men at the edge of the Colorado River. The woman is holding strings of beads and the men are playing or trading cards. It is marked, "Co-Co-Pas., Arthur Schott del., Lith. of Sarony, Major & Knapp, New York."
