Antique Sterling Silver Watch Chain Necklace Circa. 1900 American. Sterling silver watch chain with center slide. Watch chains were originally used by gentlemen to hold their pocket watch. Now, it can be worn by a lady. The watch chain has been augmented with sections of sterling silver link chain. This necklace is 19 1/2 inches long. The center slide measures 3/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch high. Both sides are hand chased Also, the two "stops" have detail work. All in excellent condition. 50.5 gr. 32.5 dwt.
