Antique Silver Bar Chain/Necklace With Magnifier Circa. 1920 Italy/American The magnifier is marked "Sterling" and is 4 inches long. The lense measures approx. 4 inches in diameter. The chain is 32 inches long and consists of 26 silver bars, each measuring 1 1/4 inches long - 1/8 inch wide. Chain is marked "835" which indicates Continental silver. Continental silver has a slightly less silver content than sterling silver, which is marked "925" The lense is American. The chain is Italian. They certainly make a great combination. 69.6 gr. 44.8 dwt Functional necklace. Use the magnifier in restaurants to read the menu!
