Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica strawberry server in the form of a quatrefoil basket. Mossy textured brown, green and turquoise ground decorated with strawberry plant leaves and flowers. Naturalistic twig molding around the rim, which also forms the handle. Four twig molded feet to underside. Mottled green, brown and ochre glazes to underside with stilt marks, impressed pattern registration diamond and painted pattern number ''3300''. Generally good. Small flake to the rim. Metal staples visible inside basket from an old repair. Repaired hairlines to rim (still slightly visible to interior). Two repaired cracks to handle, one at either end. Repaired cracks to two of the feet. Restored chip to underside. 7.5ins high, 11.75ins wide
