Victorian, circa 1860 Staffordshire spill vase modeled as a pointer poised before a tree shaped spill, on an oval naturalistic base. Two legs are molded free. Shredded clay decoration to upper base and spill. Dull gilt base line and around spill rim. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Small flake to right ear. A few paint losses to the ground, ears, nose, hind legs and tail. Some abrasions to the reverse. Kiln effect: a few craze lines to the reverse. Restoration to front right leg, top section of spill and left spill branch. 6.25ins high, 6ins wide
