Victorian, circa 1900 Pair Staffordshire russet and white spaniels. Bright gilt collars and lockets. Vent hole to underside and back of neck. Impressed ''2'' to underside. Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to russet markings. Gilt rubbed. Right facing: Kiln effects: two small firing pits to spaniel''s back; kiln soot caught in the glaze to top of head; overglazed shrinkage crack to underside and another between front and hind leg. Left facing: Hairline running across the top of hind left leg. Kiln effects: a few small firing pits to top of head; manufacture mark to front left paw; overglazed shrinkage crack to underside; overall crazing. 8ins high
