Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica platter decorated with a large green, brown and ochre leaf, ferns and pink and white flowers, tied together with a purple ribbon. Brown ground. Greek key border with ochre beaded detail around the rim. Two pierced, beaded handles. Mottled green, brown and ochre reverse with three stilt marks. Painted mark inside the foot. Generally good. No hairlines. No flakes. Some wear to the front and handles. Staining to the front. Kiln effects: over glazed shrinkage line to the front. Restored chip to handle. 8.5ins by 10ins wide
