Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica begonia leaf low compote. Overlapping begonia leaves glazed in pink, green, brown and ochre glazes on brown stipple ground to the top. Overlapping green begonia leaves to the foot. Light green and ochre reverse. Three stilt marks and a painted mark inside the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to the top. Kiln effect: two pieces of kiln detritus to reverse. 9.25ins diameter, 2.25ins high
