Very nice collection of GEM SIZE tintypes in a small album. The album holds 96 gem tintypes. This album has 47 GEM SIZE tintypes. These small albums were carried by the soldiers during the Civil War. They were small enough to fit in their pockets or pouches. As seen in the photos, the back binding has worn and most of the inside pages are soiled. But, what can you expect for 130 years old??
