Circa 1920 11 1/2" wide by 14" high framed 8" wide by 10" high canvas only California coastal oil on canvas laid on board. Pictures the solitary coastline of craggy Point Lobos in Northern California. The painting is done after a similar painting by Guy Rose. The painting is framed in it''s original arts and crafts period frame. The painting is very good in workmanship but needs restoration. It is soiled with caricature and slight paint loss. It is unsigned and was purchased from an estate of a fellow artist.
