Circa 1890 English Victorian oil on tin painting of wild hollyhock flowers. Shabby but chic our painting is framed in worn purple velvet with a gold filet missing beads. The black tin background has been poorly patched but none of that detracts from the charm of the piece. It was purchased in a shabby antique store in Bath, England in 1995 and has hung in my various kitchens since. It is a delightful decorative accessory. 14" wide by 18" high
