Charming Victorian Parian statue of the torso of a young child. This smiling young girl is simply dressed in a draped, bow front outfit, the only elaborate detail of this fine small sculpture is the very elaborate hair do which is curled and braided with flowers. Fine white Parian porcelain, unmarked except for the word "Summer" on the rear of the torso. Set on it's original Parian porcelain pedestal. The quality of this piece suggests one of the fine makers of the 19th century. 8" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 3" base diameter. Fine condition.
