Rookwood vellum glaze vase, decorated entirely with very colorful orchids. Work done by noted artist Vera Tischler. The orchids are colored in blue and lavender with bright yellow accents. Long flowing multi-green leaves are intertwined among the orchids. The background is shaded from a soft blue color to a bright pink. Really a nice contrast for the orchids. The inside of the vase is also colored in a light blue shade. The bottom shows the artist initials, the Rookwood logo, 'V' for Vellum and shape number 654D. No chips, cracks or repairs.
