Antique French bronze and crystal epergne. Rare pair, with bronze center bowls delightfully decorated in Classical motifs of Putti among leaves and vines. The graceful pedestal is gilt-bronze and also nicely decorated. The tall crystal flutes have a wide scalloped and beveled top and taper to fit in the cast bronze base. The vases have been cemented into the bases some time in the past. Original patina and gilt finish with one bowl being slightly darker than the other. The crystal vases are in very fine original condition with no chips or cracks visible. Very good condition over-all. 14 1/4" high x 6 3/4" widest x 4" diameter base.
