An extremely beautiful and a museum quality Han dynasty ear cup or erbei. The ear cup is make of red pottery and it is rare to find them in such pristine condition. The ear cup are used as burial object to accompany the dead for their after-live used.
No repairs or restorations. The glaze shows an iridescent silvery green and oxidise whitish pertina on several places. There is some expected degradation, chips & minor losses, abrasions, as a consequence of long period of burial and subsequent cleaning.
The measurement of the ear cup is: Height 4.1cm, Length 14.5cm and Width 10.4cm.
