Drucker Antiques is pleased to offer a vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver seven-piece Art Deco coffee and tea service. The service #251 was designed by Johann Rohde in 1915. This service is circa 1918-1925. The service consists of a hot water kettle on stand (11 1/2" high), coffee pot (9 1/4" high), chocolate pot (8 3/4" high), tea pot (7 1/2" high), sugar (5 1/8" high), creamer (5" high), and an oval tray (27" by 18 3/4"). The massive tray is the largest version in this style that Jensen made. All of the pieces sit comfortably on the tray without being crowded. All pieces have ebony handles. The hot water kettle has an elaborate design at the base contains keys so that the bottom opens to allow the wick to be lit. The items in the set all have impressed marks, Georg Jensen, #251 and the tray is #251A. This unique set is rare and in pristine condition. Please call or email us for pricing on this item.
