Beautiful antique bronze bust of a little girl signed L. Bartleme also inscribed Made in France above the signature. The bronze is mounted on a beautiful Sienna marble base. The base is original to this piece. It dates circa 1890s. The little girls face is beautifully carved. This is a wonderful antique French sculpture in excellent condition guaranteed to please as are all our items. She measures 5 inches high. From shoulder to shoulder she measures 3-1/4 inches. The bust not including its original Sienna marble base measures 3-7/8 inches high. The base measures 4-1/8 inches wide, 2-1/4 inches deep and 1-1/4 inches high. Weight 2 lbs. This is the original octagonal Sienna marble base that was made for this sculpture more than 120 years ago. Both the bust and the base are in excellent condition.
