This metal Coca Cola bubble sign is listed in 'Petretti's Encyclopedia of Coca Cola Collectibles' and is valued at $1000.00. The bubble is rare because under the Coca Cola logo is printed in yellow "Sign of Good Taste" - this makes this piece even more valuable. The sign depicts the old Coca Cola bottle and in the bottom left hand corner is a date of 2 - 47. The condition of the sign is comparable to the one featured in Petretti's book. The bubble is painted red, with the logo in white and above that, also in white, is "Drink". There are scratches and you can see where someone has tried to touch up a few small areas with red paint. The letters in "Drink" have been touched up as well as a small area of the L in the logo. There are four holes for fastening along the edges of the bubble that have some dents and touching up of the red paint. The sign has scratches which show in the photos. The bubble is 16" in diameter and the sign is 16" X 40". Weight is 8 lbs.
