Antique Hand painted flat box. This box was originally used for serving fruits before or after a meal. It is refered to as a Chinese fruit box. Thier a re many different types or styles of fruit boxes, this one is a flat box. Beautifuly hand painted with story board figures, the top and all four sides. Excellent coffee table box or table box, sofa table box. Very good patina of age and wear, nice for a collection also. A beautiful box.
