Exquisite antique artist monogrammed beautifully shaped Art Nouveau enamel jewelry box. The box has its original silk lining and is in overall excellent condition. The top of the box has an artist monogrammed portrait of a beautiful lady with an enameled hat. To the right and left of her are high relief gilt metal sculptured leaves. This is a unique box. The top is bordered with blue enamel flowers and two rows of blue enamel, an inner and an outer border. The sides of the box have a high relief floral decoration. The enamel portrait has a diameter of 1-3/4 inches. The box measures 3-3/4 inches from side to side. From top to bottom across the top it measures 2-7/8 inches. Height to the top of the enamel is 1-1/2 inches. The enamel and the box are in excellent condition. This beautiful enamel jewelry box has a rare shape and design. It has rounded sides and an enameled floral border. Boxes of this type usually just have an enamel portrait in the center, having the extra enamel border on the top, makes this unique jewelry box extremely desirable.
