Antique collapsible top hat. Made in Germany in the late 1800s, sold by Karl Hellmund in Bingen, Germany 1835. The company is no longer in business.
The hat was used by the upper class for formal occasions, especially theater. It has been maintained in excellent condition. It's a bargain for $295.00
