This Fabulous Isidro Cane is in Excellent Condition,c.1900. Hoof shaped handle fashioned of blond horn attached to the wooden shaft with a gold band. The tip of the cane, or the bottom of the horse’s foot is fashioned of mother of pearl with a gold ornament engraved, “Isidro.” This cane could refer to the Hipódromo de San Isidro, a horse track outside of Buenos Aires. The Hipódromo hosts the yearly Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini, the most important thoroughbred horse race in Argentina. Measuring 34"H, Serious Inquiries are Welcome! Item ID: H3418393
