Five scalloped openwork dragon medallions float within a mostly open field, surrounded by fretwork and vinescroll borders, and an outer border filled sparely by circular and cruciform motifs. The palette is restricted to blue details and outlines set against a tan ground. The lustrous, velvety pile is all the more impressive within this carefully controlled color scheme.
