A beautiful Charles Field Haviland Limoges Oyster Plate which is 9 inches around with scalloped edging and a center well for oyster sauce. It is in excellent condition and from circa 1879-1889 vintage. Haviland Black circle and Green CFH over GDM green mark under the glaze. It's gold trim is in very good condition and would be a wonderful plate for the Oyster plate collector, or for use with you other oyster plates. Haviland porcelain does not craze and its porcelain remains in good condition due to the quality porcelain used. The glaze is superb. It has no cracks, crazing, flakes or other defects.
