Southwest Airlines Sun-catcher Faux Stained Glass Art Decor Pieces . Each one measures 10" in length X 8" in height. The one with the white star has a lot of the paint chipping off. The other one has mild paint chipping. Both are very nice. Circa 60's or 70's. The glass is very thick.
You're bidding on a set of very unusual Southwest Airlines Sun-catchers. These were given to only certain executive level employees at Southwest a few years back. It measures approximately 8" x 10". The whole thing is done on a piece of heavy clear glass, edged with lead channel and it all hangs from a chain, for easy hanging. The Southwest plane is applied with glass paint of some kind. I'm not sure how they did it, but it's truly a beautiful addition to either a Southwest memorabilia collection, or as a gift for a special Southwest employee. This is also a great collector item for Airline aficionados.
