A good early smooth face Iron by Andrew Forgan, Glasgow. The initials H.G are stamped on the rear of the club head. The club has a sheepskin grip with a hickory shaft. The club has been reshafted some time in the past. Andrew Forgan (1846 - 1926) was the younger brother of Robert Forgan. Andrew was a club maker for only a short while but still remained in the golfing business as a retailer.
