Antique hickory putter, golf club. F.H Ayres. A smooth face, off set putter, "The Hesketh" made by F.H Ayres and retailed by Alec H. Bishop, Professional at Sheerness 1909 -1910, Caversham & Oxfordshire 1910 -1920, Leonards & East Sussex 1920 -1924 and Royal St. Davids 1924 - 1938. On the rear of the club head it the 'Maltese Cross' cleek mark of F.H.Ayres with the name "The Hesketh" and Alec H.Bishop. An excellent putter with hickory shaft and polished leather grip.Circa: 1910
