A scale model of a coastal coal boat in a pine and glass case. This type of boat was used to fetch coal from the North of England to the Kent ports, mainly Faversham and Whitstable. The boat was built by Anderson & Rigen or Pollocks of Faversham. The model was purchased by the last owner on the eve of the " World War II ", from the landlord of "The New Inn", Whitstable.
