We have here a very nice coin from the Bar Kochba Revolt. The coin has a very nice color from the age and most of the text and images are clearly visible. The coin is enclosed in a thick 14ct gold setting custom crafted here in Jerusalem. Coin Description: Date: 132-135 AD Obv: Seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates, Hebrew legend across Rev: vine leaf on tendril, Hebrew legend "Year 1 of the redemption of Israel". The setting is made from approximately 7.3 grams of solid 14ct Gold and is handcrafted by our own world class Armenian Jewelers here in Jerusalem. The gold is stamped as 14ct.
