Lovely Taisho Period c.1915 bronze incense burner. The excellent craftsmanship is typical of the era. The main body has peonies in raised relief and the stand on 4 legs shaped as birds. the handles are mythical dragons and the lid has a mythical shishi lion. The piece was lost wax cast.
