This Amazing Neo-Gothic Style Double Door Safe, Portugal, is in Excellent Overall Condition, c.1878. Featuring Safe with key and combination lock, marked “Debeers Club, Winter Park, Colorado.” Key lock numbered 3991. With ebonized wooden pediment and base with two drawers. Recently restored. Based on material found inside the doors of the safe, it is likely that the safe was manufactured in Lisbon, Portugal by Lucas F.L. Ribeiro. The locks may be by Casa das Chaves. It was also possibly used by Carris de Ferro de Lisboa, an early mass transit company in Lisbon founded in 1872. With 1 exterior and 1 interior key. Weight estimated at 800 lbs.
