A superb large Chinese stone head of a female, Dating to the late Tang or early Song Dynasty, 9th.-11th. century AD.
A exceptionally fine early stone head, artfully carved in fine white sandstone. The head measure impressively 27 cm. with the custom-made plint. The head alone is c. 19 cm. in height.
