A beautiful and unusual antique large round 11" diameter brass stencil with complete alphabet, numbers, symbols for pricing and info in 1" high size with marked and dated brass gauge on a wooden knob that turns to select and isolate the letter or number for inking or using, the selector is marked E.L. Tarbox,87 Nassau St.,NY,Patented Aug.11,1868. This piece was used in Victorian times to mark product wooden barrels and such commercial pieces, it's rare, useful, great to look at and in very good condition.
