This Nymphenburg Handcolored “The Torch Bearer” Figurine was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg post 1945. This beautiful figurine of this charming measures 5 inches tall 5 inches at the widest width. It has two marks, one shield crest in base of the work and the model number 491 above # 5 in the base with WESTERN GERMANY in green.

This is an impressive piece of work. The detail in the porcelain shows fine artistry. It is beautifully hand painted. It truly portrays this proud Torch Bearer in all his splendor, can be found on the net in excellent condition. Both are signed on the base with the Nymphenburg trademark in green, WESTERN GERMANY.
