Early 19th century Federal perfume/cologne caddy, rosewood, inlaid mother of pearl escutcheon, double compartment interior, original velvet/padded lining, includes one pale pink cut glass perfume bottle/facet cut stopper, fine stop hinges.
5.25†wide, 3.75†tall, 3†deep, interior for bottle slightly under 2†square and under 3†tall.
Condition – excellent untouched original finish, no chips, has one bottle, included is a period key. 649
- Probably used as a traveling perfume/cologne holder.
