circa 1800 this great Majolica character jug is know as "The Scotsman", he doesn't look like a scotsman to me but according to collectors that's what they've named him. He is about 6" tall and 6" from front to back. Small hair line crack inside the turquoise vessel and has chip on underside of hat, minut chip on moustach and back of head, other than that good cond considering his age. He is #7889 stamped on the bottom. Don't insult me but you can make me a reasonable offer.
