Exceptional pair of 17th century hand carved Solomonic columns , inn creme paint and gilt relief . Not of typical form instead of grapes and grapevines ,this pair has morning glories and sunflowers scaling up to lavish Corinthian capitals . On later faux lapis bases. Probably attached to door or archway originally as there are now filled slits on the back side where attachment was made.
Typical nicks , chips , small loses and aging dirt/grime
