REGAL ELEGANCE AT IT'S BEST! THIS ITEM IS SOLD, PLEASE LOOK AT OUR OTHER ADS.
This has to be one of my favorite chairs. It's truly stunning and strikingly beautiful with it's impressive, unique, hand carved wood arms and side. Newly re-upholstered by Rendel's of Ann Arbor, Michigan in a rich and elegant diamond tufted back burgundy, merlot colored tapestry brocade. Fit for a queen, Queen Victoria herself would have been proud to own this regal and elegant chair.
Intricately hand carved scrolled wooden arms and rams horn shape scrollwork at the upper sides. The wood appears to be either cherry, walnut or mahogany. This is a true masterpiece of design. Firm, yet comfortable for relaxing. Bench is very firm with no sagging.
Despite it's age, this is truly a showroom quality piece.
CONDITION: Superb condition, especially since this is likely 100 or more years old. The wood is in excellent condition with no major visible cracks, chips, dents or gouges. However, the top of the wooden arms show slight wear to the stained finish. The upholstery is like new to new.
MEASUREMENTS: 29.5" wide from arm to arm x 33" deep x 34" tall. Seat depth is 23" and from floor to cushion is 17".
