A wonderful antique cast iron decorative mail slot, dating from the 1880’s. This Eastlake letter slot features scalloped corners and a winding vine pattern along the edges. The door reads, “Letters.” This is in very good antique condition with fabulous chippy paint; however, it can be stripped and lacquered for an additional $5. The spring is showing signs of wear. The letter slot measures 5 7/8” by 2 3/8” overall, with an opening of 4 ½” by 1”.
