This interesting blue picture transfer plate was made to pay tribute to the workers of Denmark’s first telephone company, Kiobenhavns, in 1911! It depicts telephone workers pushing a cart of striped telephone poles on a cold Winter day in front of a large building, probably the Kiobenhavns company building.
It is about 8” wide and in perfect condition, only age glaze checking. Nicely marked on back “Furnivals Limited, Trade Mark, England” with a Viking ship trade mark. Originally pierced for hanging with original string!
Extremely rare offering!
A wonderful addition to the advanced collection of early telephones!
We combine shipping whenever possible.
