Three Matching Antique Neoclassical Double-Arm Sconces, Original Polychrome Finish NSP546 - For Sale

Three Matching Antique Neoclassical Double-Arm Sconces, Original Polychrome Finish NSP546
Price: $175.00
Three matching antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Retaining their original polychrome finish with turquoise accents, these sconces begin at the top with a triad of plumes resting in a crown. The back plate, which features a center floret button surrounded by a torsade border, is flanked with foliate detail and draped with swags. The U-shaped double arm is attached to the base of the back plate, and is accented with a floret at each end, holding an acanthus bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. One sconce has two small casting flaws in the arm (pictured), formed when the sconce was made. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 11” tall, 7 ¾” wide, and project 3 ¼” from the wall. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SCONCE; THERE ARE THREE AVAILABLE.
