DESCRIPTION:
This is a super oak round dial longcase clock. This is an exquisite little country clock which is of lovely slim proportions. This clock is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for a clock to place straight into their home.

If we start with the hood this is flat topped with a lovely deep moulded cornice. The hood door is flanked by lovely full turned columns.

Moving down to the trunk this has a wonderful full length shaped door and a pretty brass escutcheon. The base is then raised on shaped bracket feet.

The dial is round which is a nice rare feature and the centre to the dial has been beautifully painted with delicate flowers and is signed ‘REA, WALTON’.

The movement is 30 hour duration and strikes on a single bell. It has a date aperture nicely edged in gold leaf. There is one Rea of Walton Listed in ‘Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World Volume 2 by Brian Loomes’:

The approximate dimensions are:
- 81 inches high
- 21 inches across the widest part of the hood
- 13 inches across the trunk
- 18 inches across the widest part of the base.

As can be seen from these dimension this is a clock of lovely slim proportions.

CONDITION:
The clock is in wonderful condition. The movement is lovely and clean and in perfect working order having recently been professionally cleaned and serviced.
