A rare "Beehive " style, iron and Mother-of-Pearl clock case, from an unknown maker though probably of Connecticut origin, circa 1850, with a scarce 8 day Time and Strike, Terry and Andrews movement that strikes on the hour, with its original early brass spring. The movement which has been thoroughly serviced and guaranteed by our clock restorer now runs for about 5 days between windings as the original brass spring which is softer than steel has stretched, which is typical of these types of movements. The movement, though contemporaneous with the case, is not the movement that was originally installed. 15-3/4" H. X 8-3/4" W. X 4" D. See our many additional clocks. We accept time payments and quantity discounts. ** WE GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF OUR MERCHANDISE AS REPRESENTED.
