A gorgeous antique bronze Art Nouveau door hardware set, with knobs and plates, in Russell & Erwin’s “De Bercy” pattern, signed and patent dated April 12, 1890. These R&E doorknobs feature a flowing, asymmetrical design of vines and flowers with an egg-and-dart border. The backplates feature a beautifully detailed design of leaves and volutes. The set includes the doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. This door hardware set is in very good antique condition; there is a scratch on one knob that is barely noticeable. Each door knob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 1/8” deep; the door plates are 2 1/8” by 8 5/8”.
